Bike Rides and Good Old War
After a nice bike ride around Pismo, Ca, some boys and I ventured to a little record store in SLO, Ca called Boo Boo Records.
We awaited the free in-store acoustic performance from a band we’ve only known for a matter of months (but are COMPLETELY hooked on their album) called GOOD OLD WAR.
Us, along with the 7 other people that were there, welcomed the band to the little stage that was set up in the back of the store.
After opening up with their song “Coney Island,” the guitarist asks the crowd, “What do you guys want us to play next?”
Quick Silence.
“Play ‘Tell Me,’” some guy says.
“Sure,” is their reply.
(That’s my video that I took btw, and they’re playing their song “tell me” if ya’ll didn’t know)
The set was beautiful; flawless 3 piece harmonies layered over solid, impressive guitar work.
Good Old War is the shit. Get up on that.
